On March 17, 2025, Professor Mark Billinghurst visited the lab. Professor Billinghurst is a professor in computer interface technologies whose research focuses on applications of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR). He has been a Fellow of the IEEE since 2023.

During his visit, Professor Billinghurst met with members of the Synteraction Lab and learned about the lab’s ongoing research activities. The visit provided an opportunity for academic exchange and discussion related to immersive technologies and human–computer interaction.
